THE WAR OF THE WORLDS

What if Michael J. Dowswell illustrated H.G.Well's War of the Worlds? I do love War of the Worlds, I don't think my wife does but anyway...my dad and I always loved this story, it is quite dark though. They say its the first alien invasion story, I don't know if that is true or not, but yeah...alien invasion stories have always been interesting to me...I spose its just mens fascination with war and the history of war.

REALISM-MAX TALKING HEAD PROMPT

Ultra-realistic human presenter speaking naturally to camera. Subtle, organic conversational head movement driven by torso weight shifts. Slight asymmetry in posture, never perfectly centered. Smooth motion arcs with natural acceleration and deceleration. Realistic neck muscle engagement and proper head weight distribution.

Natural human blinking every 4–7 seconds with varied timing, smooth eyelid motion, no synchronized mechanical blinking.

Micro-expressions around the eyes and mouth that match speech rhythm. Occasional subtle head tilts (2–5 degrees), gentle emphasis nods on key words, brief natural stillness between movements.

No exaggerated gestures. No constant motion. No mechanical symmetry.

Realistic biomechanics, soft micro-stabilization, authentic conversational energy. Shot on high-quality camera, shallow depth of field, natural skin texture, cinematic lighting, professional YouTube Shorts framing (vertical 9:16).

If You Want Even More Realism

Add this line at the end:

Movement inspired by real documentary interview footage, imperfect and human, not animated.

A cinematic close-up of a tired man leaning against a spaceship corridor wall, casually smoking a cigarette. Subtle ember glow as he inhales, natural drifting smoke curling upward, soft exhale through slightly parted lips, realistic ash forming at the tip. Moody lighting, shallow depth of field, documentary realism, handheld camera feel.

Extreme low-key black and white lighting, subject mostly in silhouette, bright backlight creating sharp rim lighting, thick cigarette smoke illuminated from behind, heavy contrast, deep blacks, minimalist composition, vintage crime drama aesthetic, dramatic negative space.

"A NASA spacecraft into a small asteroid in 2022 moved its orbit around the Sun, according to a study that presents the “first-ever measurement of human-caused change in the heliocentric orbit of a celestial body.” "

Trent goes down to the planets surface and explores the ruins, he climbs areas to get to hard to reach ruins and goes into tombs and cellars, and cellars that go down into more cellars and tunnels. Trent sets up camp, cooks some eggs and has a fried egg sandwich, then sleeps for the night.

Trent makes a communication to the crew.

TRENT: Good morning crew, it's 04:45 and there's a mild wind, I could really do with a cup of tea right about now [laughs]. So far I've only found a small wooden box with nothing in it, I guess better luck with that tomorrow. Oh I did find that missing archeologist, he is unfortunately deceased, it looks like a 70 ton stone block fell ontop of him. I cannot locate Gertrude, his personal assistant robot [scratches head] It's pretty devastating down here to be honest, its a dead planet, ruins as far as the eye can see. The big question is, what happened down here?
HERBERT: Yeah what did happen down there? Virus?
TRENT: It's possible.
HERBERT: Is it safe for you to come back onboard the ship? Are you doing to come back with some sort of thing attached to your face like in that movie Alien?
TRENT: No, well...there is something attached to my foot actually...
HERBERT: What???? what is it?
TRENT: Not sure, I think we can just blast it off with some liquid nitrogen.
HERBERT: Ah right.
